Mattoon
Great performance, great goal and that turn in the box that skinned his man and left him 1 on 1 with the keeper at a tight angle was worthy of a goal too. Unstoppable at the moment, love the little fucker.

Benwell Lad
It's amazing how many crucial goals he either scores or assists in. Take away the frustrating bits and he's in a Champions League quarter final team.

Yorkie
Love this lad. He's improved so much at carrying the ball, makes things so awkward for defenders.

Disco
Noticed a huge change in his game since Almiron has come in More time and space as Almiron stretches the play and draws defenders, not too dissimilar to when Routledge freed up Jonas back in day. Raconteur
Possibly player of the season, can't fault him. Certainly my choice, couldn’t see him winning a public poll, though. I’m not too concerned with his future, because he’ll be staying if Rafa does. And if they both go, I’m done anyway.

shakey jake
That little drop of the shoulder and flick the ball past the defender skill he does on the break works everytime. He was absolutely excellent last night.
NEEJ
Loves scoring against Leicester And for them. He was fantastic last night. Some of his touches were pure filth. That header was incredible.

Benwell Lad
Only hypothetically of course, but I'd like to see him in a top team to see how he fared when surrounded by players of the highest level. That said, playing alongside the quality of Rondon and Almiron shows how his game has already taken a step forward.
The College Dropout
The amount of times he runs down blind-alleys has reduced significantly. Since Almiron came in he's played facing the goal much more. Loses it way less and he's scoring his goals. On pace for another 9-10 goal season but more importantly, he's really benefitting the team with his performances.
The College Dropout
We can’t possibly allow him to leave like, he’s key to Rafa’s system. Finding a forward who works as hard as him is going to be almost impossible. Or if you’re Mike Ashley, actually impossible. This is the thing. He's such a major component of the team. Since Rafa came in.. maybe even since he's joined. I can't recall many periods of good form without him in the side. Sure, we've had bad runs, taken him out the side but I can't remember many patches of the good stuff without him contributing (in the PL especially). So I don't know what a decent run of games without him looks like. He's rarely injured and that's a massive thing. Since he's joined he's played a minimum of 33 league games for us. No matter the perspective on his performances up or down he's a key figure for us and him leaving will make a massive difference to the entire team. He's been fundamental to how we play for a long time now and we've not had to go without (for good and bad). He's so ingrained into the DNA of the side. TRon
He's still a weird mixture of brilliance and frustrating propensity to run into too many defenders, but that header is typical of the type of winning goal he can produce from nowhere. Don't want to take anything away from that Ritchie cross, but you wouldn't expect a goal from that, it was all in the anticipation and execution. He comes up with a few of those every season.
