ads
Southampton are a well-balanced side and they often play with 2 sitters. City's best results have come with 2 in midfield capable of sitting simultaneously. Even Spurs look better with 2 players comfortable in defensive situations. For me, getting the most out of this current team is about getting the most from Siss which will create space for the forwards. I think he's best with a licence to attack from deep. Playing in a midfield 2 he'll either have to play more conservatively which might hinder his game or more likely - become a bit of a liability on the ball. I'd love to see it given a go, I just don't think it would work for Siss. SDJ just turned 28. Happy birthday to the lad. 26 mate...

Ashley17
Abeid not playing on fucking half measures like is he?
Andymc1
I'm looking forward to him making those kind of runs. Exactly what we need from midfield. Is that Abeid winning the ball at the start of that move? Think so, great tackle and excellent pass after winning the ball as well. I f***ing love Abeid like. Can't wait to see him back in the team Abeid not playing on f***ing half measures like is he? Not one of the Carlisle players appeal.

TRon
Abeid not playing on fucking half measures like is he? I'm not sure he would have got away with that in the premier even if he does win the ball. He wiped the lad out there.

relámpago blanco
Any chance of him being in the squad for the weekend? Probably not, he probably hasn't been injured just we have a clause on his signing that if he completes a premier league game we have to pay some money. Jill
Still don't know if he's any good or not. I jumped to the conclusion a while ago that he's absolutely terrible, so whatever happens I'm hoping I can't be disappointed.
mrmojorisin75
he really knows how to move off the ball, if we've any sense we'll be hammering that in training with the better passers of the ball looking for his runs

Ste
He'll be good but he'll be misused or we won't play in a style which suits him.
Dan Gleebals
Might just make a fairly damp squid of a season end something to smile about. Looking forward to seeing him in the team.
nufc4eva
Might just make a fairly damp squid of a season end something to smile about. Looking forward to seeing him in the team. Or maybe a damp squib?
Gallowgate Toon
Based on nowt, I think he's going to work well with Perez and Cabella. Both are good movers off the ball and need a central presence to play off, especially during possession play. I'm intrigued to see how he fits in. Vinny Green Balls
Might just make a fairly damp squid of a season end something to smile about. Looking forward to seeing him in the team. Or maybe a damp squib? one of my favorite idiomatic mistakes. A damp squid is a normal occurrence. Damp squib refers wet fireworks.

Vinny Green Balls
or maybe he called it a damp squid of a season, because we generally expect squid to be damp, and thus the season is going as expected.
