Has the king even mentioned him since the initial "welcome. We  expect big things from him." ?

Ominous by his almost non existence, not a chance he will feature against palace. Didn't even try him against Gillingham ffs. Maybe it's a south American thing.. the king refused to play tevez and mascherano until they were "acclimatized". Nonce.

Imagine what the poor guy is thinking.  Probably got a plane, full of hope and excitement, determined to prove himself in the premier league against some of the best in the world, maybe break into the national team and get a few caps.

Makes the bench against Gillingham in the league cup.

Suspect the lad is a Carr signing and that Pardew doesn't rate him. Merely been brought in to make up the numbers. :(

Or Perez has shown more in training and Pardew is a cunt and refuses to put two strikers on the bench.

Wonder if we're actually contributing anything towards his being here? Would explain a lot if we're not even if he is wildly unsuited.

He's used to playing at the wrong end of the pitch, he's obviously unsuited.

@AlanColeman86 my 'source' reckons he's been very unimpressive in training. Hopefully he'll come good once he gets used to new country

Good that we did our background work before wasting our money then.
