Big potential obviously and if they have any sense they'll up it a bit with some bonuses for goals/assists/appearances. So the next offer will likely be £5k per week. Wallace Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 Bearing in mind we no longer offer improved contracts after a couple of years if a player does exceptionally well, he would be committing himself to £6k a week until he is 24. Most clubs would want to improve a player's contract if they are doing well in order to keep them at the club. There is no need for us to do that as we plan to sell them instead. If he leaves, the club will drop enough soundbites through the media about him wanting too much money so most fans will accuse him of being greedy and say the club were right not to concede to his and the agent's demands.
