Sky Sports News presenter just said "After the break, some interesting developments at Newcastle after yesterdays heavy loss at Southampton".

On the interesting scale of one to ten it'll be the usual 1/10 s**** we already know.

Sounds like they're just going to report the Carver story.

He's definitely gone. Only thing that might save him is a convincing win against Hull and the chances of that hapenning are nil.

Unfortunately, a 1-0 win versus Hull will keep him in a job for a while yet in my opinion

Just even when he says 'you can't lose 4-0 as Newcastle manager' as though it would be perfectly fine at any other club, and we're being unrealistic. f***ing prick.

Aye, then he said he's lost 4-0 'a few times'.

Its actually 6 times, and that's not including losing 0-5 at Spurs and 0-6 at home to Liverpool!

Getting such an easy ride on Goals on Sunday.

Regular on the show is he not?

Aye, the usual guff from Pulis. "I know Alan very well and he works so hard on the training ground so he'll be disappointed with the defending there."

Think today/tomorrow will be telling either way. The club have the perfect opportunity to jettison two of the 2020 back room staff loyal to Pardew, one calling a fan a prick the other calling a few cunts and offering them to fight, the latter for absolute certain doesn't have a leg to stand on if they were to dismiss him.

This would weaken Pardews position even more, coming to work having even less allies and it's a trick the club have pulled before, they wouldn't give Hughton the assistant manager he wanted for so long, then went ahead and sacked him.

Bet Pardew wishes he could turn back time and take the palace job, quite pleased he's lost his fallback hanging on as his ego wouldn't let him walk away.
