Skeletor
Praying for some one to catch Pardew slagging Ashley off on a vertical phone camera.
Guest Gino14
If Pardew ends up staying, what will it mean in terms with his relationship with Ashley seeing as Ashley has backed him when he has had plenty of reasons to sack him. Surely, it will be fractured beyond repair and that will make Pardew's position untenable. Let's hope that it's the bare minimum that comes out of this. Then the next poor run of form will see him gone. In reality it could be that Pardew has done nothing and the approach is only from Palace's side. I don't think he can stay personally, it's just a case of coming to a compromise over the compensation package. If he stays now, everyone will know his heart isn't really in it, even his arse licking fans on FB.
Chris_R
Yes, Pardew's pretty much nailed his colours to the mast now. He's made his position at Newcastle untenable IMO, even if the Palace job comes to nothing. He has declared he wants out, even if that means going to a much smaller club in the relegation zone. It's not like he's been linked with Barca, this is Palace FFS. There's no coming back from this for him, the hatred will be even more intense if he stays. Super Duper Branko Strupar
Palace must be offering him funds in January, like. More than he'd get here.

Disco
Palace are set up for the way he likes to play like. Not many forrins. Two quick, tricky wingers for 'magic'. Slow try-hards everywhere else. Just needs a semi-decent striker. Would never stop laughing if he took them down.

Guest Gino14
He'll get a much higher basic wage at Palace and his ego massaged by fans that for some reason actually like him. He's onto a massive winner if he gets the job there. He's probably one bad run away from the sack here and people seeing the bad runs are constant. At present he's got the team 9th and pundits sticking up for him. If he gets sacked now he'll get his pay out and be seen as a good manager by all the brainless morons in football, who there are a lot of. He has played an absolute blinder here however this turns out. The man is worse than Teflon, even super glue won't stick to him.

Chicane
Maybe he had some sort of personal issue that he needed to deal with, hence why he didn't do the presser and hasn't come out and said anything yet and this is just all wild speculation based on nothing
