SEMTEX
Aye hopefully it's just the start of a giant downward spiral that results in Palace getting relegated and Pardew getting beaten to death.

Guest
You'd like to think he'll be under his first real bit of pressure if we win on Saturday. They'd be bottom-half with back to back home defeats to shit teams.

Guest
When you look at their season it's very similar to his time here. Unexpected results in games they'd ordinarily lose (Chelsea and Liverpool away for example), are what's keeping their necks out of trouble (for now). Lush Vlad
Useless cunt. Still can't beat the mackems. Fuck off Pardew. Couldn't even do us a favour. Hopefully Semtex is right. Let's hope they drop like a stone and he does end up helping us out, by getting relegated.
Ronaldo
A favour man ffs. If we're relying on Alan fucking Pardew beating that Sunderland side to stay in the league then just fucking let us be relegated now. I'd certainly hope anyone with self respect would share that view.

Guest
If we're relying on last night's result to stay up we deserve everything we get. Personally enjoying their bit of a wobble and once the freak results against the better teams start turning into drubbings (like what happened here), I could see them around 14-15th soon enough. Lush Vlad
Fucking hell Ronaldo. Someone pissed on your chips this morning. Yes. As pathetic as it is. I have no confidence that this current set of jokers at NUFC, will keep us up. The same way I didn't last season. So yet again, we're relying on other teams to just be shitter than us. As oppose to us actually performing well and earning our place in the league. Or perhaps you haven't been watching for the last 2-3 years? Maybe you got lumped round the head too many times in sparring. Fuck knows. Obviously it's not going to hinge on Crystal Fucking Palace vs sunderland. But if Palace had won 3-0. It would have helped keep them down there and their confidence low. I also like seeing the mackems lose, as we don't exactly bring much to the table, in terms of excitement. But perhaps that's just me. Self respect
Ronaldo
If you want us to stay up because Alan Pardew beats Sunderland, fair play. I certainly fucking don't. We don't deserve to be a PL club if that's what we're relying on.
Lush Vlad
If you want us to stay up because Alan Pardew beats Sunderland, fair play. I certainly f***ing don't. We don't deserve to be a PL club if that's what we're relying on. We don't. I've said as much in the McClaren thread. I'd still rather we stay up though, whether we deserve it or not. It's shit watching us at present. But I think I'd still rather be in the Premier League. I was at Villa when we went down. I could do without that feeling again TBH. It was grim. I could get on board if it meant Ashley getting rid. But I could see us struggling if we went down and not just bouncing back (Partridge) like last time. Scoot
Well done to Pardew again last night. He seems to love handing those silly bastards 3 points every time he comes up against them. Watching them last night just reminded me of us under him. Totally clueless when a team just sits deep and defends as the mackems did.
TRon
I didn't want Sunderland to win yesterday, but if they were going to, it might as well be against Pardew. Hopefully another defeat to the Mackems will set Palace off on a run of losses like it did when he was here. They were fucking abject last night.
