Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Newcastle United - 26/10/14 - 13:30 FT

Look at the teams below us now currently in the league. They are truly shocking, add WBA, Stoke and Hull to that lot never mind West ham who are doing shockingly well and really there is no excuse for us to even be close to relegation.

Chopra surely?

Had been on for 15 seconds according to the BBC Sport report from that game.

Sammy's will have been 7.something seconds?

Chopra isn't even on this list and it's from August, though I kind of doubt the list seeing as his was way less than 23 seconds.

1. Antoine Sibierski (Derby v Wigan) 15 seconds

2. Apostolos Vellios (Chelsea v Everton) 17 seconds

3. Andy Johnson (Wolves v Fulham) 17 seconds

4. Yakubu Aiyegbeni (Blackburn v Everton) 18 seconds

5. Andre Bikey (Reading v Chelsea) 19 seconds

6. Stelios Giannakopoulos (Tottenham v Bolton) 19 seconds

7. Shane Long (Reading v Newcastle) 22 seconds

8. Matt Derbyshire (Middlesbrough v Blackburn) 22 seconds

9. Sergio Aguero (Manchester City v Liverpool) 23 seconds

You might be right but find it hard to believe Chopra's was 15 seconds, was as long as it took for him to run from the bench to the area. Can't find the video on YouTube, definitely used to be one.

Fuming here. I had a feeling something like this would happen. Ashley and Pardew have killed this club or me. Cannot take any joy whatsoever from this result. Think I best off stop watching altogether till these two leave the club. Sad times.

As ever, I'm utterly baffled as to why Admin are supposed to be neutral when it comes to NUFC.

 the idea that the people who put the most time and effort into running this place would be rewarded by not being allowed to share an opinion.

Think they mentioned on NBC that Sammy's was 6.5 seconds, so if Chopra was indeed 15 it beats that by a fair margin.

According to my googling it seems Bendtner has the fastest goal by a substitute with 1.8 seconds. Though he was on the pitch for about a minute before that, then scores from a corner when play resumes.

Clock doesn't stop for corners though, so I doubt that'll count. IMHO.
