Guest
Wiki has been updated to show NUFC as a 'Team Managed' I'm not usually a fan of hilarious Wiki-edit jokes but I love the casual insert of the info about Carlisle. Look North mentioned the Carlisle link last night...and of course... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/remi-garde-thought-talks-newcastle-8410581 Garde is aware of the Premier League after three years is England with Arsenal and he also spent time in the north with Carlisle United at the end of this career. In case you missed this last night... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/frank-de-boer-snubs-newcastle-4955604 Brilliant. I hope we draw them in the cup next season and someone asks him if he's looking forward to a return to Carlisle.
Guest
He came out of retirement shortly after leaving Arsenal to make three substitute appearances for Carlisle United, a team that he later commentated on alongside Derek Lacey for BBC Radio Cumbria. He still regularly visits his uncle in Cumbria, who was born, and still lives in, the town of Millom.

He still regularly visits his uncle in Cumbria, who was born, and still lives in, the town of Millom. In 2009 it was claimed that his 'uncle' was actually from a completely different family with the same Garde surname, from a nearby village. Despite this, the former Lyon manager continued to visit him anyway. FYP
Disco
@MsiDouglas Spoke to Houllier, @LaurensJulien & others about Garde and was impressed. Seems a good fit. Piece up at 8am.
