Paully
RANGERS Football Club announce today that Derek Llambias, Barry Leach and Sandy Easdale have been suspended from their duties pending an investigation. It is also noted that Mr Llambias and Mr Leach, along with Sandy Easdale, have been advised that a resolution to remove them as directors of the Company has been received by the Company. A meeting may be required for this purpose but it is hoped that this will not prove necessary. Acting Chairman Paul Murray, fellow directors Douglas Park and John Gilligan, and the Club’s Head of Football Administration Andrew Dickson have been appointed to the Board of the Company. -

BlueStar
Hopefully the pending investigation will expose a load of dodgy dealings on Ashley's part too. Pretty much our only hope is him dipping below the incredibly low bar of the fit and proper test.
AyeDubbleYoo
Is the Scottish fit and proper test any more credible than the English?
wyn davies
So where does that leave King an innocent bystander following his antics re Tax in South Africa, if Ashleys mottley crew aren't fit and proper them I'm damn sure it will also apply to a proportion of those on the Rangers new board. Bad Mongo
No mention of Chris Graham yet?Chris Graham has resigned as a director at Rangers days after he was accused of tweeting an offensive picture depicting the prophet Muhammad performing a sex act on a Star Wars character. Guest Roger Kint
Speaking to the BBC, Stuart McCall: “If you take the four lads from Newcastle, who probably won’t kick a ball for us, out of the equation, it’s not as big a squad as you’d imagine.” What a farce
Guest
I really hope Hibs do them in the Play Offs. I reckon they'd beat whoever the SPFL relegation play-off team is if they get past Hibs, but Hibs look good after a dodgy start.

I'm fairly sure Ferguson still plays for N Ireland and i have no idea what the story is with Bigi

Wallace
I wonder if we knew they would be out for the rest of the season and just did this to get them off the wage bill. It seems really dodgy.

It seems really dodgy. Aye with Rangers famously cash rich these days compared to us that makes more sense than Ashley trying to get his other team promoted on the sly
Matt
It's in Ashley's interests for Rangers to keep running out of cash.
Guest Roger Kint
It's in Ashley's interests for Rangers to keep running out of cash. Its pretty obvious that they dont pay a penny for them though. Why else have they not been sent back if they arent going to play?

Why else have they not been sent back if they arent going to play? I had assumed that we were paying their wages but then read that Rangers were (which would be ridiculous as there is no way they can afford them) but Ashley's loan was helping them to do that. I guess the truth will come out in due course once the new board gets to grips with things.

Varadi
Confirmed that Rangers are paying the wages of the loan players, and that Bigi has a long standing "medical condition" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3005127/Rangers-counting-cost-loan-crocks-Stuart-McCall-reveals-club-paying-wages-five-deadline-day-Newcastle-signings.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
