Guest zicomartin
According to this, Colback was our second best player. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-1-1-stoke-rate-newcastle-8603431#du_top
midds
What's this Colback red like? Can't remember a particularly bad tackle all match. Was probably asleep. He was already booked and chopped down some limited cunt on the edge of their box for a blatant second yellow Genuinely can't remember. Wish the ref had sent 5 of the bastards off so we could scatter home early. It was fucking dogshit like, absolutely joyless experience - even the goals were shit. Still, another fixture fulfilled. Wullie
Some attendance looking at the original post. The £20 quid a ticket scheme worked a treat.

Tsunami
Possibly Seb but their goal was a direct result of negative football and inviting the opposition up the pitch and being able to press. Unbelievably bad passage of play.

ujpest doza
Still fucking freezing and I've just been power walking the last 30 mins. Absolutely aids match - not single player from either team had what could be described as a good game. Should've won it 2-0 if it wasn't for moronic decisions by our attackers although the ref bottled Colbacks red as he did Ireland's earlier, he was gash n all. Just a total waste of everyone's afternoon. I've had a chilli and pepperoni pizza to try and warm up, cheeks burning but feet still like 2 blocks of ice. Very poor game. Still can't believe Obertan, Cisse and Sissoko didn't between the 3 of them put that chance away when they broke. Very surprised Ayoze didn't at least hit the target, must have bobbled? Although I'm sure there were players on the penalty spot he could have squared to as well. No doubt i'll be wrong but I thought Crouch had drifted offside for their equaliser??? duo
Carver clearly a graduate of the Pardew school of substitutions. It's like he's not left.
themanupstairs
Sure everything that needs saying about Obertan's bottled shot has been said. Their goal was rooted in that f***ing moronic free kick, why was Krul taking it when there were like 7 players level with him or behind and no one up? Just ended up coming straight back while we were out of shape and Krul wasn't settled back into position. This X 10000000000000000000
Vinny Green Balls
1 point closer to the 36 we will likely need. Wanktastic.

Pilko
Haidara and Cabella the only players worthy of anything other than abuse today, with a partial pardon for Perez for carving out a few chances from Williamson's constant shit distribution. Carver is a fucking idiot subbing Cabella when Sammy was having an absolutely dogshit day. Colback does nowt (he scored, I know) all game. He's really, really cack. Pilko
Speaks volumes about how shit this game was that people in the Level 7 Leazes West corner spent about 15 minutes of the second half watching three blokes booting off at stewards who were trying to remove them rather than the "events" on the pitch. Gallowgate Toon
It's pretty fucking embarrassing when Stoke, who had Walters (physically better than our centre halves), actually played it short from goal kicks on a number of occasions. We had Ayoze Perez up top for the majority of the game and I don't think we attempted it once

We had Ayoze Perez up top for the majority of the game and I don't think we attempted it once i've often wondered, why the hell do goalkeepers take such horrendous kicks when it would be much better use of the ball to just kick it short and let the outfiled players get it up the pitch, this is not just something i've recently been thinking due to Krul's shit kicking, it's just such an odd thing when 50% of the time ball ends up back with the opposition straight after a goal kick

I'd rather we kept possession and worked it out from the back. The only time I see a long range hoof effort useful is if you have someone good enough to win the ball up front in the air. Other than that it's only useful if your desperately chasing a game and have little time left, so hit and hope is all you got left.
AyeDubbleYoo
It's mainly out of fear, because it's worse to lose the ball near your own goal then to lose it by humping it up the pitch. Especially in England, that's a major part of football training TBH.
Village Idiot
You don't seem to have the players capable of taking the sting out of a match. I was watching the game when you were already ahead and thinking, "this is too end-to-end, they need to sub some calming presence in midfield", but I couldn't see that in your bench. Anita going was a mistake on that regard, imho.
