Pretty bad for Sunderland that it took 45 minutes to open the scoring. We have nothing in midfield to retain and build some possession and territory. I mean, we have Gouffran and Jonas in midfield; our right back playing at CB; Ryan Taylor, who keeps putting nasty tackles in because he's a yard slower than everyone else, ambling around at right back; and then two tiny possession based players playing in attack.
