Yoan Gouffran, Sammy Ameobi and Remy Cabella are all set to be dropped as Carver bids to improve a dire run of two wins in 13 games since succeeding Alan Pardew, a record that has all but put the 50-year-old interim head coach out of the running for the job on a permanent basis.

 Drops the only player who's looked half decent since he came in!

Listen, things have been tough so I've had to make some big decisions and drop the under performing players. Rivière hasn't got a league goal all season but I think playing him up top on his own with our best forward on the wing will galvanise us. I think you'll agree starting Obertan is what the fans want to see, and I should know cos I'm a Geordie too.

Guest chopey

Carver has said if any player doesn't fancy it tonight at anfield tonight then don't bother turning up, I just wish we had some players with strong characters to challenge him instead of the wet fish we have at the minute

Name one attribute Ryan Taylor has to play professional football?

He's got that typical Scouser footballer look. The frown, the lowered eyebrows, eyes half closed.

EDIT: I know, not the best pics. Couldn't be arsed.

Meh, Game of Thrones is on. Something I actually feel quite passionately about.

FYI certain websites that shall remain nameless have the first 4 episodes of season 5 on it! That's what I'll be doing. Fuck watching the scousers beat anyone, let alone us.

Wary after getting stung with us only getting beat 2-1 last season but there is surely no way they're not going to bot us mercilessly.

I cant see any other out come other than a a sound thrashing.
