The College Dropout
I've had ST for clubs I didn't even support in the past. It just becomes apart of your weekend routine. Build the day around it. Hang out with friends. The actual game rarely mattered for me. Which must be the same for the folks who support NUFC.
frankpingel
Media has definitely changed with this campaign getting the message out there. Might listen to phone in tonight for the first time this year and see what there take is after yesterday.
BeloEmre
https://twitter.com/NUFC_Stats/status/590105279339094016 Looks like it's been confirmed that the actual attendance was 30k. If so amazing effort from everyone involved! Where is this confirmed? Or are they still going with that text message from yesterday?

morla84
@milesstarforth Spoke to Newcastle City Council & they didn't issue reported 30,075 crowd figure. They do NOT have the real attendance from the game. #

Guest antz1uk
NewcastleCityCouncil @NewcastleCC 17m17 minutes ago For clarification, the council has not issued the number of people who attended yesterday's #NUFC game.

No tv cameras but if it continues, the media will pick it up and make it a bigger deal than yesterday.
Guest antz1uk
it's fine, it has given people initiative and they are starting to do something. if they want to do it it's fine by me. all they've needed was a nudge and a little educating with some media support. Fugazi
Shite craic just lying about being told about the actual figure and hoping nobody realises.
Dave
Shite craic just lying about being told about the actual figure and hoping nobody realises. Aye. Can't call the club for bullshitting then do exactly the same yourself.

Guest Brendan_Rice
Who lied about the attendance? Apparently the figures released were tickets sold including season ticket holders, not the amount of people through the turn stiles
Ketsbaia
Wouldn't be surprised if it was as low as 30,075, but I think that 35/36k is more likely. A magnificent attempt, though. The big question is where do AshleyOut go from here? I bet a lot of yesterday's boycotters were happy to do it as a one-off, but twice? Then again, some who did go probably had their eyes opened. It could really go in either direction.
number9shirt
I see ashley showed exactly what he's made of yesterday by not showing up, the lily-livered cretin.
mattypnufc
Doubt another boycott would work personally especially with those who have paid for their tickets. People would miss one game but unless your completely fed up - like me - but they wouldn't sack off all of the remaining games. Just my thoughts anyway. AyeDubbleYoo
I don't know, I think it's worth trying. Sure a few people who went are regretting it now. They have to do something to keep the campaign going anyway.
Al Moody
I think the seeds have been well sown in terms of fans staying away. Plenty will return for the next match but there will be more and more turning their backs as a result of the dross we see on the pitch anyway.
