AyeDubbleYoo
Main problem I can see is if McClaren is planning to press high up the pitch, we will get mullered unless Mbemba and a new signing hit the ground running quickly.

ads
I'll start to worry if we look s*** in competitive games, friendlies mean f*** all. Look at the Championship season for example, smashed 6 - 1 by League One Leyton Orient two weeks before the season started, then went on the p*ss the Championship. Also the players have been terribly coached for years. It took a long time for things to shape up under Keegan the 2nd time because Allardyce had fostered such deep rooted turgid football in the players. Agree in particular about the Keegan thing. I remember my Grandad (not long before he died actually) said to me "It's only a matter of time before you batter someone". A week later we won 4-1 at Tottenham
toontownman
Fucking great, Steele is very highly rated. Great addition, glad Freddie gets to move near his dad, but hoping he improves to fulfill his potential with us.

DJ_NUFC
Looking forward to not wanting to murder everyone when the camera cuts to our dugout. That was the best thing about watching pre-season games. Camera cut to thoughtful, seemingly intelligent faces, not the collective mongdew brigade that we were anchored with for years.
