Liverpool apparently after the Korean keeper

He was extremely good, lot of really good aspects to his game.

LOVE a random post-WC signing by Prem teams  I wish we'd still do that, even if our track record isn't the best.

El hadji diouf springs to mind when thinking of PL signings after a world cup.

The whole of the Prem wanted a Senegalese player in their team after 2002

EDIT: actually diouf may have been signed pre world cup

Looks like a child, could see him getting bullied

Nah he'll be fine.

People were saying the same about De Gea. He'll be fine

De Gea did get bullied tbf  Not sure a South Korean bloke will get the same leeway

He had a good tournament but he's been playing for one of the worst teams in the Korean league and was third-choice for the national team even up to the pre-tournament friendlies. Liverpool seems like a bit of a stretch.

Also, has military service issues.

Think we look far better with Sterling in the side.

Sterling, Lingard and Alli are all about off the ball movement, making runs. Of the 3, Sterling is most comfortable carrying the ball and linking play so he's crucial.

I think Zaha would've been perfect for this side. Someone that actually wants to get on the ball from deep and move it forward. That ship has forever sailed.

If we can settle early and play through them and get our width flying at them I would go for a comfortable win.

If we take the chances and not squander those that fall to us (Kane aside)

If we make no silly mistakes at the back, especially Walker.

If.

This is the best chance in years of us making a real impact at the tournament.

2 nil to us.

I would drop Sterling back into Alli's role and stick Rashford up front, but I'm not Gareth Southgate so what do I know?

Nothing.  Back to FM.

We've nee done any of those things the whole tournament (except play through a shit Panama).

We've generally started brightly for 35 minutes. Do that again - score and it's great.

We've also been dangerous at set-pieces. Suspect Sweden are better equipped to deal with that than the other teams.

We've got a rick at that back in us, not sure if Sweden can convert.
