Don’t really have too much issue with Henderson going since I can see the logic and other teams have similar players in similar roles. The idea Maguire thought he was just entitled to go because his dopey mate Southgate had him as the first name on the team sheet though

Bellingham has made it then - don't really get the hype with him. He's always been average when I've watched him this season.

You could make a team out of those who missed out that would probably beat the reserves imo.

Trent, Mitchell, Braithewaite, Maguire, Tomori, Colwill, Hall, Shaw, Wharton, Garner, Gibbs-White, Barnes can all probably look at that squad and pick someone out that they could justifiably say they should be ahead of. Even Palmer and Foden could probably argue that despite their poor form they're still a better option than some of them.

Personally I wouldn't have him in but understand from a leadership point of view... Harry M though is just a massive twat see his and family's reaction on the socials.  Plus the higher stakes the game the more likely he is to drop a massive rick, in my opinion at least.

Could he not have just gone as a coach

Still can't get over Tino going like.

It's an unnecessary gamble from Tommy tactics . Could properly fuck us over as well. injury prone player who needs to be sold this summer picking up a bad injury would be very on brand for us.

Weird as owt. He'll get injured in the 1st training session most likely. It's not a squad that's winning the World Cup like.

Henderson ffs

Don't actually mind him as a bit of a mentor to Mainoo & Anderson. Can afford the odd selection like that when the squad is up to 26 I reckon. As long as he doesn't get any minutes.

Would have taken Wharton over Mainoo however.

Quansah, Spence and Tino and no Hall is fucking wild man. I'm also not sure that Stones has really done much to earn a call up but I'll give TT the benefit of the doubt and assume he wants another veteran in there.

Edit: Madueke [emoji38]

Harsh on Hall not being there. But happy for him not to in the shop front.

On the other hand Gordon has landed on his feet despite being gash for large parts of the season. Put in a good shift and get that price boosted.

I think the hardest thing for the players left out is the last round of friendlies where it was a mess of a split squad etc.

False hope / too much pressure to impress and in hindsight we could have used it to embed a team

Instead there were 14 players in the last game who are not named in the sqaud
