It's not coming home, is it

Well England's not the home of the World Cup, the European Championship or the sport of football (which is what is being referred to) so on all counts and either way - no

England have some really good attacking talent, but how to get the ball forward to them?

The transition from defence up to attack continues to be a big problem.

All this time and it seems Southgate still hasn't figured out how to get his midfield and defence to work together to get the ball up the pitch.

Trippier lost his man there!!

Maguire in no man's land again

If that goal happened against Newcastle and burn was maguire and trippier done what teippier done I'd guarantee Burn would be getting slaughtered to fuck

Actually hope they do blame  him and he's neewhere near England squads anytime soon. Far more important he's fit here

China.... allegedly

The game in China that some people think was football didn't even have set rules, it varied based on whatever they wanted to do at the time, and that's based on the little we actually know about it.

Well it was based on kicking around the heads of their defeated enemies so I'm quite pleased the game progressed

Sounds like the modern game and the handling of the off side rule.

Will never have it that Southgate is a top level coach. This is the best collection of players I can remember England having in years and he'll be having 5 at the back, 'double pivot' bullshit regardless of the opposition.

He's absolutely schooled whenever he comes up against a competent coach.
