The transition from defence up to attack continues to be a big problem. All this time and it seems Southgate still hasn't figured out how to get his midfield and defence to work together to get the ball up the pitch. This is the best collection of players I can remember England having in years and he'll be having 5 at the back, 'double pivot' bullshit regardless of the opposition.
