SGSC
My one hope after we go down is that this guy stays.
triggs
He's not even really any good either though. Only effective with floated crosses to the back post and even then only very occasionally. Could improve I suppose
TRon
It's quite possible he won't score many next season either. He's not shown much finishing instinct with the ball at his feet, and championship defenders might well be decent in the air.
toontownman
If he is to flourish in England the championship is the best place for mitrovic to find his feet and grow as a player. Perez will be off but Armstrong will be our big hope.
Disco
Reckon he needed to be more isolated today.
TRon
He was saying this week that players like him and Cisse needed better service. Can't argue with that, they are feeding off scraps at the moment.
La Parka
Why? What did you do to rafa?
Lenny
How is he behind Cisse!?
La Parka
Changed the fucking game.
Hanshithispantz
I thought Cisse played well tbf. They should both be starting though.
Newcastle Fan
This guy man, comes on for 10 minutes and absolutely runs riot.
triggs
Brilliant but would definitely keep him on the bench for the next game. His three best performances this season have come off the bench IMO, today, Spurs and Norwich the other week. Cisse was decent for about 60 minutes as well and then Mitro is a game changing sub to bring on
Andy
Always looks a much better player coming off the bench, Benitez has picked up on that straight away
Lenny
I thought Cisse played well tbf. They should both be starting though. Cisse was ok, but didn't offer much IMO. I'd not play 2 up top given the players we have. That said, he showed intelligence to win the corner that got the first goal.
Guest neesy111
Cisse stretches defences and makes there players work, mitrovic doesn't do that. Using him as a sub is the best way.
AyeDubbleYoo
There are arguments for them both, very pleased for Mitro getting on and making it count.

Varadi
Aye, I'm liking the combination of Cisse starting, then bring Mitro on as the battering ram when the defenders are a bit knackered.
AyeDubbleYoo
I sort of agree, but that only really applies if we're not already losing.
Guest
I sort of agree, but that only really applies if we're not already losing. Worked against Spurs and almost at Norwich.
nufcjb
Wish Rafa would try play him upfront with Cisse. Could get a lot of knockdowns for Cisse to latch onto and he'd probably pull out defenders so Papiss would have more space. Drop the useless fucker Gini. Lenny
I'd rather give De Jong a chance than play them both. At Wijnaldum's expense of course.
AyeDubbleYoo
I'd rather give De Jong a chance than play them both. At Wijnaldum's expense of course. Think I would too. I do think Wijnaldum is at risk now.
colinmk
Think he's been managed exactly right tbh. Favourite player of ours by a million miles since HBA.
jimmymag
Terrible miss again in the last few minutes. His profligacy in front of goal could still cost us dearly.
