Ikon
Aye Yorkie, i mentioned this earlier as well. It would have been a very nice goal.

Dave
Fabulous goal today, the move was superb football and the finish just topped it off.
Ikon
Yeah it was a fabulous goal indeed. Class from Perez in the build up even though it was just for half a second.
joeyt
Love this mad bastard. His movement off the ball created the Gini's 4th too
The College Dropout
Love this mad b******. His movement off the ball created the Gini's 4th too Aye, his movement, his touch and the coolness of his finish are excellent signs long term.
AyeDubbleYoo
Have to admit I thought he might never adapt initially, thought he would be constantly booked and sent off. Seems he's not actually that easy to wind up, he just wanted to show his commitment.
The College Dropout
He's not a constant wind-up. But he does seem to like to leave a foot in.
Ikon
He's not a constant wind-up. But he does seem to like to leave a foot in. What are you on about?
mrmojorisin75
He's not a constant wind-up. But he does seem to like to leave a foot in. What are you on about? He left a foot in yesterday tbf
toontownman
Epitomizes the passion of the fans and what the fans want to see in players. Looked a but sluggish at times bit is a beast. Very excited by him we actually have attacking threat with him, Perez, wijnaldum and sissoko.
Taylor Swift
Has a hint of the Giroud about him. Good touch, good hold up play, can finish. Can see why we were also in for Giroud a few years ago. Carr has his type. I can see him getting 12-15 in the league per year but being crucial to the attack. Shearer-esque in his hold up play. Lush Vlad
That goal reminded me of one Martins scored at Blackburn. Oba's was more about ruthless power and just lashing it in. Mitrovic's was far more controlled and classy.
AyeDubbleYoo
If ends up as effective as Giroud I'll be stoked.
Hughesy
If he was quick, he basically wouldn't be playing for us, would he?
Klaus
I love this bloke, class goal and celebration. He is the kind of player that makes me excited about football again, the game needs characters like him.
Ikon
How many strikers in the style of Mitrovic are quick? Not many.. He doesn't need a lot of pace.
Hughesy
True - I suppose I am just pointing out that he doesn't fit into the mould of a modern striker really, but that is rather obvious.
Guest reefatoon
I'd much rather have the power than pace in our main striker (Saying that, he isn't even slow, once he gets moving he is quite rapid). He works the line so well and the pace comes from other areas of the pitch. Worked a charm yesterday.
STM
Special mention for the backheel. Did he meg them?
Kanji
His goal yesterday was exactly what we've been missing since Remy (to a small extent) Ba, Carroll or Shearer. Peeled away from defender, perfect control - that maybe only Ba or Shearer could do from that group and a brilliant smash.
sugoinufc
that goal was outstanding from build up to finish. He had space but still controlled and finished perfectly
Ikon
Reminded me a bit of Ibrahimovic the way he controlled and took the ball with him with his chest.
AyeDubbleYoo
Wish he'd set up Wijnaldum with that little chest down, classic CF play.
Deuce
He's a bit of a throwback like, shades of Shearer and Vieri. Has a hint of the Giroud about him. Reminded me a bit of Ibrahimovic the way he controlled and took the ball with him with his chest. anyone else?
