For second degree sprains, the rehabilitation period will be between 6 and 8 weeks. Rehabilitation under the supervision of a chartered physiotherapist is desirable to prevent a recurrence of the injury, which can be common if a return to sport is attempted too early. Pretty much my feelings as well. 3-4 weeks isn't a massive layoff considering we don't play for 2 weeks and it'll give Doumbia and Perez a chance to shine. Perez losing his first team place has been pretty harsh on him. He's been fairly central to the majority of good results we've had this season.
