Dave Posted July 23, 2015 Share Posted July 23, 2015 The Mirror have now changed their piece to this: Newcastle United are set to sign Chancel Mbemba - despite the defender reportedly having FOUR birthdays. Steve McClaren's are closing in on the Anderlecht defender, just days after raiding the same Belgian club for striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. Congolese international Mbemba is believed to be 20, but there are doubts over whether this is accurate. It has been reported the centre-back has FOUR different dates of birth. Mbemba started his career in Congo, where his birthday was stated as August 8, 1988. However, his date of birth was registered as 1995 when he joined Anderlecht in 2012.
