Segun Oluwaniyi
Has there been any solid information about this? Has he even arrived back in England for a diagnosis? I doubt NUFC have doctors in Kinshasa or that the club will be taking their information from national team officials.
duo
LB back position coming back to haunt us. £7Mil all Gibbs cost - and for that he risks £100mil. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/chancel-mbemba-out-at-least-13583062 Chancel Mbemba out for 'at least' a month - according to reports in Congo Jack Colback can, of course, fill in at left-back but is unlikely to have a route back into the first team after being told before deadline day that he would be training with the Academy if he did not leave. So what? £7 Mil is cheap in this market so you can afford to pay him £5Mill a year. Plus we've just cleared £13,000,000 a year off our wages.

The only place jack colback should fill in is a shallow grave.
Darth Crooks
Not sure he'll drop Manquillo yet. Quillo isn't that heavy Tbf.
ujpest doza
Haidara didn't leave did he? I mean he's obviously not up to it but these are the reasons why we didn't sign a LB: we had loads who could technically play there. Dummett, Mbemba, Haidara, probably Yedlin and Manquillo, Gamez, Clark... all on the books who could play there. We were never in a million years gonna get a LB. Colback............ duo
"Chancel is not too bad," said Moreno. "Reading the newspaper, it seems like it was a bad injury. "Today we don’t think so. The assessment is quite good. "He'll definitely miss the game, but hopefully not too bad. Hopefully, he'll be ready for the next one (against Stoke City on September 16)." Yorkie
Still a bloody shame though. Really like Chancel and he was excellent against West Ham, looked like he was in a position to make the role his own whilst Dummett was out. Obviously I hope whoever comes in does well, but I think Mbemba's got a lot of talent.

Tiresias
Played very well, after thinking prolly done for him at the club at end of last season feels a very valuable utility player atm.
Guest
He's not an Ashley Cole or Roberto Carlos though so I'm still not happy.
Ikon
Don't like players getting injured, but I have to say that I'm happy not having to see Dummett play. We look more well balanced having a player that is at least decent on the ball. Can't understand that there's been so many "being fine" with Dummett in the team. Guest
He's proving it doesn't take much to upgrade on Dummett. He can defend and he doesn't shit himself when in possession. Already that makes him a better option there imo.

afar
He's just a good defender, you can put him anywhere along the back four and he'll do a job for you. Thought he started poorly today, gave the ball away cheaply but once again grew into the game, thought he was maybe a little less than 100% fit. Not in any hurry for the return of Dummett like. Newcastle Fan
He's a really reliable hard working player, i don't worry about him being played anywhere in defense, he know what he's doing and proving to be a great asset for us.
