TRon
Nobody deserves to be compared to Titus. It's a really strange comparison No surprise after Tron said the other day that 'Bellamy relied more on the sheer power from his left foot' He did, how many times did you see him pass it into the net or dink one over the keeper? He had a great left foot and usually put his head down and belted it towards the goal in one on ones.

TRon
Belting it head down when the keeper's on top of you doesn't usually work. Bellamy had a hell of a left foot but the best finishers usually find a way past the keeper when they come out and narrow the angles.

LFEE
Titus and those almighty swings that missed the ball Then a crossfield 60 yarder with either foot i could only dream of. Titus was potential never realised, concentration and his brainfarts always let him down in the end. A lot of those 60 yarders found the stands also LBH. AyeDubbleYoo
He's probably the best CB in the league, clearly a player who looks a cut above this level. He just made an error, chill.
Marmoset
It depends on the frequency of his errors though. It's not a one off. Hopefully he'll cut them down with more experience.

The College Dropout
My opinion through observation. what about Mbemba's defensive contribution has impressed you so much? Genuine question. For me there's nothing to suggest he's better than Lascelles. Who imo is very obviously raw in some aspects of his game.
Figures 1-0 Football
I think they are probably about the same level at the moment (similar age too, aren't they?). In theory they could learn the game well with Rafa and become a solid CB pairing for us for some years. Mbemba was crap on Saturday, as was Lascelles and every other player on the pitch. Both are better than this level and probably the best two CB's in the division.
Ronaldo
I don't think he's the best CB in our squad, let alone the league. I think he's good, just nothing special.
Mole_Toonfan
Some on this forum are so unbelievably bipolar, since Mbemba and Lascelles have been put together we conceded 4 in 6 games in the PL and 6 in 8 games this season. ( not all have been Mbemba and Lascelles but you get the point) We lost one game for crying out loud, he's been great since Rafa came in and he scores an own goal which can happen to anyone and suddenly people are criticizing him and everyone else seemingly. Also Lascelles and Chancel are very young for centre backs. They have years to develop and get better as they gain experience. I hope anyway.

You make it sound like the own goal was the only mistake he made all game. He was absolutely terrible on Saturday all game and people are rightly criticising him for it. I don't think anyone wants him to be dropped or sold because they know we've got a good player on our hands if he continues to improve, but he was awful on Saturday and it's a football forum so people will criticise him for his performance
