Robert Madley 3-0 Newcastle - 25/10/15 - Post match reaction from Half Time

The team really don't want to pass to Dummett I've noticed.

Strange comment. He's at LB in a side who've played most of the game in their opponents half. Been passed to 3 times.

Not really strange, he's been wide open numerous times and Colo passes it through the middle to players under pressure. Might be directed to but doesn't mean Dummett wasn't the better option.

I saw the same, he's fwd in lots of space and the ball wasn't coming to him.

Come on, it's a way of trying to open their midfield up. Has nothing to do with ignoring him.

If Dummett's not in the game when we've got the ball it's hard to see how Wij is going to get much of the ball or how we can stretch their team across the width of the pitch to make space for the rest.

If the ball only goes mid/right then Sunderland won't bother to defend their right, compacts the game, doesn't make any sense. We don't have the quality to pass through even Sunderland in a compact space.
