Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle United - 2/1/16 - Post match reaction from page 26

Why they don't try against poorer opposition is fucking crazy. That's your bread and butter in the league, and that's why we're where we are.

That motivation should be coming from the Manager, as you don't need any motivation against the top teams.

Tiote has looked fine like, if he can keep this up (unlikely) I hope we can push Colback and Anita out in place of someone who can actually play football.

What i was going to say almost word for word

Can never know what he'll do next

Tiote has been good IMO

Never expected him to find any kind of good performance again, but he's done well at staying back and keeping it simple. When he does that he's very useful. He's got another half to keep it up for yet though.

Oxlade-Chamberlain should have been sent off for two bookable offences. Kicking out at Perez after he dragged Tiote down and the scissor kick on Perez. Ref doesn't book him for either. Corrupt, incompetent or both?

Total homer, same ref who sent Coloccini of against the mackems.

They do try, they're just too shit and bereft of ideas to break sides down and make it count - ie with goals, the whole point of playing football.

Yep our game plan is to basically attack down the right. When it doesn't work we have nothing.

Thought that was Bobby Madley?

Aye, also if you look at the game today the area where we are getting the ball with the most joy is in between the lines between their centre midfield and centre halves where there is some space where this space wouldn't be there against worse teams

That would come with sustained pressure and a better successful pass rate. We do have goals in the side, but have never really kept a side pushed back.

We don't really have goals in the side, we don't have one consistent goal scorer
