When the going gets tough his lack of mental strength and discipline is exposed. He is great when we are on top of things but not the same when we are under the cosh.

He was for about an hour, then fell apart once Villa got on top. That worries me because apparently he was doing extra work in pre-season just because his stamina has been questioned previously. I don't know if it's lack of fitness or bottle, but he has to finish games better than he did yesterday.
