English fucking football man... Big Sam is basically a bit better Pardew boxed differently.

He's god awful, but he's vastly better, at least results wise anyway, than Pardew. Funny as fuck appointment though. [emoji38]

Allardyce will make them boring but solid, probably a good fit for him and I think they'll be happy with him tbh. The fat corrupt wanker shouldn't be allowed to work in football again but it's pretty much corrupt to the core anyway.

Pardew will now hopefully fade into the distance, the only better thing that could happen at this stage is for Sunderland to grow tired of Moyes' outspoken shit and replace him with Pardew, 2 birds with one stone when they finally get relegated.

Wasn't Pardew's only Championship experience was when he got sacked for having newly relegated Charlton in the bottom three ?

He spent his first 3-4 years in the championship with Reading and West Ham.

left reading on the up actually didn't he?  in fact is that the only club he didn't really have a diabolical trough with?

Cannot wait until this fucker gets relegated so people are obliged to stop saying 'it guarantees you not to get relegated' as the one and only redeeming feature of the appointment

Not sure it'll happen here, but I can dream

In the eyes of the media it'll not be his fault, it will be Pardew's. Which in itself will be baffling, as the fact Palace are where they are isn't Pardew fault in the eyes of the very same media.

I don't know, he has this rep as a specialist anti-relegation troubleshooter for clubs in imminent peril (a rep which I don't doubt irritates him hugely), which would have to go when he inevitably gets relegated at some point

He got relegated as manager of Notts County, but nobody ever mentions that.

Allardyce is a massive, massive step up from Pardew like. He's very limited in a lot of capacities but they won't go on these horrendous runs anymore. The football is equally shite but somewhat more effective.

He'll get that squad comfortably mid-table and that's about where it should be IMO.

When i look at Palace it's almost as if the curse that's swallowed my club like Robin Williams in Jumanji has suddenly opened after 15 year and spat us out and inhaled Crystal Palace in it's place.

It's f***ing delicious.

 the hatred for Pardew in here is both disturbing and beautiful.

My Crystal Palace hatred will linger on for some time I'd imagine, with the fans being such arseholes about the Pardew thing back then and because of this new appointment. Like I said earlier, it would be so fucking beautiful if they got relegated now having had these two cunts in charge. The media would be defending one while saying the other wasn't at fault either

Since Palace paid us to take Pardew away, have just demonstrated how hopeless he is even with a 30M striker, and thankfully failed to hang on in a final and win him a trophy, after probably the greatest of all Pards' many moments that he will never live down, I don't see how anyone can hate them. They have done us a good service! Man U under LVG played some of the most dire football I've ever seen from a top side, but many thanks to them for winning that game. Shame on Mourinho too for spoiling the celebration with his own attention seeking. The FA Cup is a proper trophy and should be respected.

If Palace stumble on under Fatso, and he's no recipe for success, then such service will merely continue. It would have been nice to have him out the way in China, but I think he likes attention more than coin, tbh. The sting reeled him in by suggesting lots of businessmen wanted to pay to listen to him, not to pay him for favours.

I've become indifferent to Palace since yesterday.

I think I still want them relegated. I'd take that as a black mark against both their names.

Relegating a Pardew-managed Sunderland would be ideal though. Need the wheels to come off a bit quicker for Moyes though.
