Had a quick scan of a West Brom forum last night, quite a few of them have figured him out already, while the rest of them still seem be fooled by his “football on the front foot” patter. 2 years of watching Pulisball seem to have clouded their perception of what good football is, and Pardew has played them perfectly to be fair to him. I also don't think its necessary to try drawing parallels with his time at other clubs where there will always be different circumstances and reasons why the results went as they did.
