Tiresias
Of course we're fragile we're not veyr good and confidence is low. This will help, thought mbemba was outstanding apart from that. Mitrovic is a terrible finisher at the moment but the rest of his game is good enough that i'm happy for him to stay up top and the finishing will come, unless we do sign a striker. Well done Shelvey, some infuriating decision making but we have missed those forward passes a lot. Wijnaldum is absolutely mint.

KaKa
Happy we didn't pay after Mitro didn't manage to score. Should make him feel better at least. The guy is class though. Such a presence man, and gets in great areas. He will score goals. Need to keep him in the team with Shelvey now getting us playing better in forward areas, and creating more chances. Mick
First half we were excellent and second half did just about enough. Shelvey played well but ran out of legs in the second half which was always going to happen. Wijnaldum was brilliant and is possibly our most important player. McClaren need to grow a pair and his negativity could have cost us as he invited them onto us with his substitutions.
Chrisjraby
Glad the toilets who shouted for Tiote to shoot have now attached themselves to Shelvey
CPL
Massive massive win, great first half performance, second not so great especially after their goal. Only positives from today onwards and upwards, Shelvey looks perfect for our team. Takes the pressure off all our attacks coming from the right. Our second goal was

buzza
Sissoko, Wijnaldum, Shelvey, Colo, Janmaat were all 9 out of 10s today. The balance with somebody with a bit of forward passing and vision made an unreal difference. Getting worried about mitro's misses, he made some shocking air shots today. if we could get remy on loan i would be well chuffed

James
Elliott - Some good saves - 7 Janmaat - back to his best - 8 Mbemba - would have been a good game but let himself down with their goal - 6 Colo - back to his old self? - 7 Dummett - did ok - 6.5 Colback - didn't do much wrong - 6.5 Shelvey - was the platform for many of our attacks - 9 Sissoko - not his best - 6.5 Wijnaldum - an unstoppable force today. MOTM - 9 Perez - nice goal. Faded as match went on - 7 Mitrovic - led the line and helped us keep the ball high up the pitch. Goals will come if he keeps doing what he is doing - 7 Saivet - some good moments but didn't look fully bedded in - 6.5 Gouffran - still shit - 4 Lascelles - n/a
Stifler
Fucking hell. A big win and a very good performance. West Ham did not deserve to be in with a chance of getting a result, we shot ourselves in the foot with their goal, fortunate it didn't come back to haunt us this time. Even though they were only a goal down apart from one chance I don't think they threatened us much. Shelvey offers us another dynamic to our game. All the team played well today, well all except for Colback who was shit, and what the hell was Gouffran doing running towards our own goal at the end? Perez I think should have been taken off sooner as in the 2nd half he didn't offer us anything. It's a shame that Bournemotu and Norwich resulted in the worst result that we could happen, but we just have to concentrate on ourselves. We need more performances like that, especially the first half.
