Played okay IMO, not done enough to be ahead but some decent moves. Mitrovic should have scored, as usual.

Happy enough with Saviet and Shelvey so far.

Should have scored? Bit harsh to say should have IMO.

Yeah, really worried about Mitrovic.

He can't dribble with the ball.

He can't run in behind.

He is always a yard away from where he should be putting himself in the box.

He has days where he gets bullied a little by opposition defenders and immediately switches off.

He can link the play really well at times, defend crosses pretty well and work over a weaker CB.  But those days are less common.

Missing wor Jack out there today

Genuinely are though. With him we'd be playing our normal formation and probably doing better

[emoji38] we can play the same formation without him, we're just not.

Well it's a lot more difficult without him given we don't have anyone that can play left back

If we are going to rely on Mitrovic for goals we've got a problem, he's hopeless in front of goal.

Hardly any service at all today tbf

We are playing some bastard child version of a 541 and can't string two passes together.

Service striker. Give it to him outside the box and the maximum he can do is hold it up for you. No terrible thing, but expecting him to pick it up midway into their half and cause them problems by himself is asinine.

Hoy Mbemba out there. Not a perfect solution but he'll suffice.

It was both a decent shot and a decent save. A good striker puts that away though. The less said about when he was left one on one with the last defender the better, it was fairly pitiful.

It's amazing how we have like the whole team playing in midfield yet still can't get any passes going.

It isn't when you have two CMs against 3 and have Wijnaldum and Sissoko running around aimlessly with no real position. After watching that half it's not surprising at all IMO.

I thought we would have Sissoko-Saivet-Shelvey in CM and Wijnaldum behind Mitrovic but that hasn't happened at all.

I like that he's willing to try things out but the 2 wing-backs aren't making things happen and there's no real backup plan. Mitrovic isolated up top by himself is fucking useless too, he needs someone near him.

Just go back to the formation from the last game, we'll fucking bury them.

There has been a few times where there's been a ball put into the box perfect for him to attack and he's been too slow to react, from Janmaat and Shelvey IIRC

Misstrovic playing excellent again by the sound of it, if he keeps it up we might only lose 0-1. FFS.

Just use his actual name you clown

He should change it, might bring him some luck.
