Figures 1-0 Football
Was he injured today or was bingo on? Seemed strange that Riviere was on the bench and he wasn't.
TRon
I'll tell you now that a Doumbia who has been training on fags and doner kebabs has got more chance of scoring a goal as a sub than Riviere.
TheInfiniteOdyssey
he's had a big impact so far I'm sure we can all agree on that
BeloEmre
From some Italian newspaper: It's stated that there is a clause in the deal where, if Doumbia plays ten matches, Newcastle are contractually obliged to purchase the pacey striker for €22m (£17.4m) £17.4m

Willow
Magpies loan forward Seydou Doumbia has walked out on the Ivory Coast national squad following an argument with coach Michel Dussuyer. The player was confined to the substitute's bench for Friday's 1-0 home win over Sudan before reportedly questioning Dussuyer's authority and going AWOL. The Elephants squad that travelled to Sudan for a 1-1 draw on Tuesday didn't then include Doumbia and he's now presumably en route back to Tyneside. Leazes_End_Mag
According to the Daily Star, so it is questionable, Rafa hasn't been impressed with him at all and it looks unlikely he will play any part in the remaining games.
