If they go down i doubt they will get up in a long time. They are skint and even decent Championship players cost quite alot these days and they have next to nothing to build on from when you look at their current squad. They might sell a few players but they really don't have any mega valuable assets to sell.

it's never as easy as that, sign a few championship level players and keep defoe they'll have a chance imo...defoe would score a million goals in that league like

didn't say he would, but if you were them that's what you'd be aiming for surely...we're seeing ourselves what having good strikers can do for you in this league

Thick as mince. They can't even get within 10,000 of our attendance even a league above. Embarrassing yet they fail to mention it.  Like how they say no other fans have such large support for such hard times and declaring themselves the greatest fans around. Can't wait till they are getting 23,000 again next season

Didn't they get 44,000 yesterday?

Which is within 10,000 of us

I still think that the lucky bastards will somehow squirm out of it!

Can't see it, their motivation's gone. They 'relegated' it.

The Sunderland of previous seasons may well have hung on for a draw against Arsenal after equalising yesterday, no matter how undeserved. Their class of 16/17 looks worse than anything there's ever been in the PL.

Kone, who they bigged up like he was some kind of world class defender, is costing them big time.
