Bloke on the radio just said "our ONLY chance to survive this season is get Moyes out and Allardyce back in NOW. Tell him 'look we understand why you left, but you're the only man to save us. Here's £100m for January, buy whoever you want'"

Desperate they really are. He won't go back there and even if he did he wasn't exactly doing well for them last season. Didn't even get to 40 points did they

Mid October - Who is the last team to win a Premier League Game? Newcastle or Sunderland?

Might be cursing this but I think they'll be doing well to win a game before Hull at home on 19 November. West Ham away might be their best chance as Arsenal and Bournemouth are both flying.

Yes it's desperate but I still have fond memories of the last game we won  O0

Moyes favourite to be sacked.

The bookies are rarely wrong.

Looking at that site, you can gett 33/1 for Benitez to be the next St Mirren manager

These b******s will still somehow manage to squirm their way out of it!

A lad after football last night said there are rumours of some Chinese consortium takeover?!

Thread turns predictably racist before the first page is out.

"Takeover or will we just go for the loan option of a takeaway?"

"Chinese. Always gives me a gippy gut."

"came from Hong Kong in 1973...sold his chop suey house so has a bit cash on the hip"

"There's something special happening at this club. House special with fried rice"

All from the first page, didn't bother with any more. So their frame of reference for China = takeaway food. Jesus f*cking CHRIST what year is it in that shithole??

If it happens, hopefully this consortium is headed up by another Vincent Tan, or Dr Tony.

Has a consortium ever produced a team getting success like Man City?

Both Chelsea and Man City were taken over by individuals and not a group of investors.

If it's a consortium that take over than they will want a return on their money, the fact that their league position and current price has put buyers off suggests that they are not attracting the wild reckless spenders.
