Bimpy474
hull 1-1 still 6 off safety in effect Erm, well no like. If they win two and Barnsley lose two they would be one point ahead, no ? think thats what he means? 5 wont do- due to goal difference? They're only 5 points behind like, so two wins is enough......i know i haven't done maths for like 30 years but Howay man.

Unbelievable
Worst possible result. Lucky cunts
Dr.Spaceman
Sunderland are anything but lucky 5 points adrift with an massively inferior goal difference to Barnsley and Hull. I know people say it's only 2 wins, but that's a huge ask for them. No doubt they'll win and others around them will too. Seems to have been the theme of the season so far. Figures 1-0 Football
Considering their next two are Millwall away and Villa at home, you’d imagine they’ll be further adrift than 5 or 6 points/2 wins/6 draws.
Guest
5 points adrift from safety man. They've had 6 months to get themselves out of trouble, the gaps always stayed close, but now that's a big gap to make up.
Ketsbaia
Hmmm only 2 points distributed tonight, that's annoying.
Figures 1-0 Football
4 wins in 24 and now they probably need at least 5 wins from 12 to survive. Not a chance like.
Guest
They've got a chance like. They've done similar in the Premier League. I doubt they'll do it though.
Klaus
I’m sure they will be fine in League 1 saying as the Championship is only pub league standard

Disco
Millwall away and Villa at home is tricky like. Millwall in with a sniff of the playoffs after a good run too. Here's hoping...
Ankles Bennett
League one is what they need to start rebuilding. Get rid of owner and underperforming overpaid players who probably all think they should be playing in the epl which is why they are where they are. afar
The gap is definitely starting to build, tbh I can't see them making up the 7 point gap to the teams on 34 points, Even Hull on 33 with a huge advantage in GD look a little beyond them. So for them it's maybe catch Barnsley if they can, since they are bottom of the form table as well as the league, that's going to be tough.
geordiedean
These are going down people need to stop kidding themselves they will stay up by the Time Tuesday is done they could be 3 games behind the rest with only 10 to play Impossible task for a team that by then will have won 5 from 36 games I'll be astonished if they get any more than 38 points

geordiesteve710
https://www.a-love-supreme.com/single-post/2018/02/18/Attendance-w*****s “Can the nasty NUFC fans stop laughing at our crowds” Jesus, this is the single greatest mack-track of all time. After 20 years of sunderland fans telling anyone who'd listen that they actually have more fans than Newcastle, that their attendances were more impressive (due to the laws of mackematics), that Newcastle fans are fair-weather glory-hunters who would disappear on relegation compared to sunderland fans who would all follow the team no matter what, after 20 fucking years, ALS has now (correctly tbf) decided that it's a shit argument and that people who go on about attendances are wankers. With a straight face and not a hint of irony. Glorious.

Guest firetotheworks
Depends on what you view as class support imo. I don't blame those who are staying away now because they have a fair enough reason to, it was probably more telling when they were doing relatively well and still had pink seats everywhere than it is now.
