NG32 Posted May 10, 2017 Share Posted May 10, 2017 If Ashley lets Rafa build the club back up his way, recruiting, academy, etc. there is no doubt in my mind we will see success on the pitch and we'll be challenging in the top 7 of the table in a few years. He would make Ashley more money being a successful club, there is only so much you can get out of a cost cutting cost saving bottom club that risks relegation every few seasons. Not in a daft way like 'give me the money to win the league next season', but just how does Ashley see the club? Rafa is here because he sees it as a sleeping giant. Ashley has to share that vision rather than run it like a cheap merchandising tool for SD.
