I'll have to see it again like, I thought it was one of the clearest penalties I've seen in a while, looked like Sissoko was playing volleyball. EDIT: Doesn't matter, seen the follow up post. Pardew man absolutely desperate for his team not to get involved in a football game, it was embarrassing. Have so much hope now it'd be a killer if we went down. Jayson Posted May 1, 2016 Share Posted May 1, 2016 Came up with the girlfriend, great experience. That Lascelles tackle first half was ridiculously good, first half generally was edgy. Townsend was nearly through first half if his first touch hadnt been too heavy. His goal though, superb. He's easily our most exciting player now, him & Anita combine well also. Darlow's save was superb, ground went nuts for that. You really believe when your keepers saving penos. Did everything we needed to get the 3 points & managed it. We made it hard for them & all they really had were corners as you'd expect. Townsends comments were spot on about the time wasting aswell. Who goes to a former club & time wastes from minute 10 when you're safe. Goal kicks taking minutes at a time, nuts. Fully deserved win. Should've made it two at the end really. Great day.
