Figures 1-0 Football
Didn't Rafa recently say that Sels needs to adapt to the English game? Sounds to me like he's a back-up/third choice keeper.
Guest
Think Krul will be gone as I don't see anyone coming in for Elliott (especially given his injury). Krul, Sels, Darlow, Woodman and Elliott is a tad too much. Flog Krul, loan Woodman and have Sels/Darlow competing for no.1 imo.
STM
We haven't paid 5 million or whatever for Sels to sit on the bench. He's our new number one. I'm just not quite sure where Krul is going.

nufc4eva
Loving this rebuilding job we're doing. Finally taking transfers and squad strength seriously. Look to be building a foundation, long time coming really. There will be players that don't work out but happy with players we have got so far. Hope we get few more and also few youngish players in

He might have good ability but need some time to adapt to English football. Even if Krul goes, Elliott and Darlow are more than good enough keepers for the championship. relámpago blanco
Its crazy being well prepared for a season. We could go now and do well without additional signings.
Leazes_End_Mag
Daily Mail and Chronicle reporting that we're still talking about loaning a player as part of the Wiji deal. Ojo, Kent and Gomez the one's mentioned.

Minhosa
Loving this rebuilding job we're doing. Finally taking transfers and squad strength seriously. Love the fact we're prioristing good characters. Something the club has lacked since our last promotion.

Looked way too good for League 1 but he's a winger, so I reckon it's bollocks as we surely have enough of them.

Sissoko can play there but looked better playing centrally under Rafa, if he does stay. I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic but considering Aarons injury record is a shambles and there's talk that Thauvin could be away then its somewhere we definitely need to strengthen. Stal
There are specialist right wingers and left wingers. Do we have enough to play down either flank?
madras
Given that Benitez seems wedded to 4-2-3-1 are we wanting wingers as opposewd to midfielders who can play as much inside as outside ?
Incognito
Given that Benitez seems wedded to 4-2-3-1 are we wanting wingers as opposewd to midfielders who can play as much inside as outside ? Exactly, you can add Perez to the list of players already mentioned, as he'll likely play on the flank of a three behind the striker. So Perez, Aarons,Ritchie and Thauvin. Three is probably ample, four ideal.
Mole_Toonfan
Benitez has already mentioned that Gayle can play on the wing too, in a 4231 having wingers on both sides isn't always completely necessary. As said before as long as Thauvin stays we are fine there, I think another striker is a lot more likely tbh.
