Bellars
Almiron would be interesting. Young confident player with loads of pace and potential. Always looks dangerous with the ball at his feet. Could play the #10.

HaydnNUFC
Anyone else think it'd be quite an underwhelming signing or is it just me?
afar
Depends if we are still in an Ashley world, Ings would be the best we could hope for if that's the case and almost certainly an improvement on what we have. But if we've suddenly got a lot more money to play with, I would look to spend that on someone with a lot more recent football behind him.
Sho Time
He's finished. Would be a complete waste of money - he's definitely not going to be the same player again and as far as his injury history (and ours) goes it'd be a disaster.
AyeDubbleYoo
Anyone else think it'd be quite an underwhelming signing or is it just me? Of course it is, but then again we are about as desperate as it gets for a striker of any quality.

Of course it is, but then again we are about as desperate as it gets for a striker of any quality. I don't think he gives us quality. How many appearances has he made since his move from Burnley? It won't be many. I know we'll be lucky to sign anyone in January if Ashley is still here but if we get taken over I'll want us looking for better quality than Danny Ings. Away Day Gadgie
Ings? No thanks. It seems like he's been injured for about 5 years and he wasn't even that good anyway.
Bimpy474
Ings works his balls off for the team, that's the kind of player Rafa loves. Ings is a bit like Ritchie in that respect, hard work. Matt Ritchie is probably the perfect Rafa player like. Edit : wouldn't really want to sign him, we need a front man with a bit of pace, and two ACL's injuries will cost him a yard or two of pace. Yorkie
Worth a punt on loan, like. Still only 25 and seems like a good egg.

Wtf does Rafa see in Ayoze then? If he likes a grafter like Ritchie im baffled some lazy arses make our side. On this striker crisis have we nothing new emerging from the youth squads worth just giving a shot off the bench. ( Hasn't this Victor Fernandez made the bench ? Wiki has got him down as a FWD)

He likes Ayoze’s intelligent runs off the ball which drag the opposition players out of position, so he says.

Infinitely Content
Ings/Cairney sound like improvements 'on paper', but perhaps not if they're both going to be injured/struggling for fitness. Besides, in the grand scheme we should probably aim a bit higher than them anyway. Still take them both mind.
xLiaaamx
Meh to ings, yes to cairney. Him, Shelvey and Merino would have us good on the ball in the middle.
Shearergol
Tom Cairney is massively over-valued, no chance is he worth even half what we'd have to pay.
Tooj
I'm sceptical about Ings simply due to the two cruciate injuries that he's had.

joeyt
Cairney was the best opposition player to visit SJP last season. Would be like when Routledge was the best opposition player we faced in the Championship and we signed him not long after, although Cairney would be a while after we played them
