Yorkie
Anyway, regardless of who it is, looking at the wall chart I'm thinking another QF defeat to Portugal.
Scotty66
Who will likely to play if we top the group atm? Whoever comes 3rd in either group A,C or D. Then how it that choosen? Aye I don't gerrit. If it's the third-best third-placed team, of those three teams, we could well be facing Northern Ireland. That's ridiculous man No idea how it's chosen, found it on the BBC Sport website http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/european-championship/euro-2016/schedule/knockout-stage
Yorkie
Fuck knows. If we get through our Last 16 game, having finished top, we'll face the winner of Portugal (1F) v Sweden (2E), I reckon.
astraguy
Guessing all 3rd teams are put in a pot and selected that way
Scotty66
Ok so it's this - Basically nobody has a fucking clue yet.
Nobody
Explain which third placed team it is, then... Wasn't criticising you mate, was slagging off the system
Gallowgate Toon
Rooney's looked pretty decent, to me. Need to start games with some more movement ahead of him, though. He can pick some great passes, just needs the movement. Was nice to see him occasionally dribble forward too. He'll never be like he was but having play ahead of him more might see him loosen the shackles with his style.

Interpolic
I'm uncharacteristically chilled about whether England top the group or not this time, simply because I haven't got a fucking clue who we'll play either way
Shays Given Tim Flowers
Exactly this.
Scotty66
My prediction is we will face either Switzerland,Romania,Poland,Northern Ireland or Czech Rep in Round of 16. (That's if we win Group B) Then most likely to face Italy in the quarters and we all know what happens.
Sammys_Tekkers
doesn't matter who we play, we will beat them all.
Guest
Finger crossed for 1st place in group B so we can get the Saturday 5pm KO Monday 8pm if we finish 2nd
Mr. Snrub
Wayne Routledge is better than Raheem Sterling. I ain't joking.
Interpolic
That thing about Vardy being on holiday with his mates in Zante having just completed a move from Fleetwood Town the last time the Euros was on is class
Mr. Snrub
That thing about Vardy being on holiday with his mates in Zante having just completed a move from Fleetwood Town the last time the Euros was on is class Despite all the piss take songs and what not, you have to have nothing but admiration for the fella. Playing amateur football 4 years ago still hungover and fulla gear and now scoring goals in the Euro Finals and a PL Champion. I'll be expecting a call up in 2020. Guest
Aye, who'd have thought two years ago Vardy and Alli would be two of our key players.
Incognito
I cannot believe Lineker said this is the first time we've come from behind to win a game in a major tournament. Helmut fucking Haller, man. That couldn't be more major. Maybe he meant in normal time, though I know he didn't say that. Yeah, he must have meant that because we beat Cameroon in 90 aet after being behind too. joeyt
Didn't we come from behind to beat Sweden in the last Euros when Carroll scored?
joeyt
Just checked and we did in normal time.
The College Dropout
Decent performance. At this rate it's a good chance we'll face defensive teams all the way until the quarters
Parky
Think it's arranged to be a bit easier if you win your group. I worked out something about finishing second means avoiding France but I can't remember how it went...
ponsaelius
The stat waswas coming from behind after being behind at half time
Jayson
Think it's arranged to be a bit easier if you win your group. I worked out something about finishing second means avoiding France but I can't remember how it went... Nah we'd likely face them in the quarters if that happened. If we win our group we'll play whoever comes 3rd in D or A most likely. Then its C if neither of them are best finishers. So its Czech's or Romania atm. Then its 1st of F v 2nd of E. So if Portugal win F, they are the most likely quarter finalist for our group, unless Italy come 2nd in theirs.
