Magpie
Belgium and Sweden for me, Italians look bang average on paper (I realise they usually still turn up regardless though!)
Wullie
Don't forget most of the third placed teams go through as well.
Dave
Don't forget most of the third placed teams go through as well. Might not help those in this group, if the games are all tight.
sbnufc
Just seen that Clattenburg is ref for Belgium v Italy. That'll be a laugh with the Italians..
joeyt
Belgian media expect Belgium's midfield to be hazard witsel de bruyne fellaini nainggolan with dembele, mertens and carrasco on the bench because Wilmots wants "size" in his midfield.
Colos Short and Curlies
Are we expecting this to be the group of totty with both Belgium and Sweden involved? The Italians and Irish should also contribute nicely
Odear
Ireland usually make up for the lack of talent with motivation and work ethic, kind of the opposite of a few of the Sweden players. Zlatan will win the game if he's in the mood but if it all seems like a bit too much effort, i fully expect Ireland to get a point here.. can't see where the goals are going to come from though so a win would be unlikely. Shak
Definitely a game neither team can afford to lose. Think we'll make a better fist of things this year than we did four years ago. O'Neill is well suited to international management and we more than held our own against Poland and Germany in the qualifiers. Looking forward to the game.
