Sissoko's replacement at an excellent fee, Diame is a good player and wouldn't be out of place in the Premier League nevermind the Championship. Not a chance he's anywhere near good enough to be a replacement for Sissoko. A stop-gap for this league if he leaves but he's not at Sissoko's level by a canny distance. Would say producing more for the team makes him better Might not be the same quality, but he is effectively his replacement for this season as he will bring many of the same attributes at this level. Great business though - bringing in someone at that price who will be more than adequate in the Championship and keeping the rest of the fee for when we really need it next year.
