Altamullan
The only really disappointing results/performances, in the last ten games, were Brighton at home and away to Chelsea in the FA Cup. Diame didn’t start either game. He’s really making a difference.
YNGLEGIONNAIRE
It's ironical that we're in this precarious position yet we have two guys in Lacelles and Diame who , on recent performances , can each be credited with having a galvanising effect on the team . Colossus would not be a misplaced adjective for either of them on current form . Long may it continue . And if Shelvey can maintain the level of commitment and performance that he displayed yesterday we will be fine .
Disco
Colossus. Those PEDs he got for Christmas are working something magic.

TRon
Most improved player of all time. Confidence has a lot to do with it, even when he was struggling you could see him trying stuff which made you think there was something there. Players like that need the fans on their side, Rafa's support probably made a huge difference.
The College Dropout
Been much better ever since Lascelles slapped him around a bit. Great captaining. But seriously, Diame's always shown he has more ability than a Hayden for example but also more likely to do silly things and didn't seem capable of performing for 90 minutes. He's sorted it out. thenige
Absolutely stunned at how he's been recently. Actually using his strength and winning more than his fair share of 50/50s. Still can't pass a ball, but that's what Shelvey's for.
The College Dropout
After Shelvey he's about as effective a passer as Merino and certainly better than Hayden.
TRon
After Shelvey he's about as effective a passer as Merino and certainly better than Hayden. Agree. He misplaces some passes, but that's because he's usually quite ambitious with them, quite often forward into gaps rather than sideways or backwards. xLiaaamx
Shelvey's our best midfielder because of his passing, and Diame's the best at everything else. Our best pair.
Interpolic
Desperately hoping he doesn't get drug tested.
Guest Howaythetoon
Some turnaround, he’s become our midfield enforcer and where as his legs looked gone, he’s all over the place now. A cult hero?
themanupstairs
Superb once again today after a couple of lesser performances at Bournemouth and Liverpool. Love his energy and aggression. Takes the ball off blokes as if it's nothing.
Sho Time
Well worth the £30m we paid for him.
Tsunami
Very good again today; I’d have had him put down just months ago. He made so many blocks and interceptions and yet still managed to look he wasn’t trying at times with the way he runs.
Guest Howaythetoon
I’m surprised he doesn’t get more yellow cards mind, a few times today I thought foul!

Menace
Glad to see his turn around tbh, the fact that he's kept Merino out of the team is very promising.
madras
Can't underestimate how much our recent solidity is down to his dropping back into the midfield 2. Been superb since he went there makes you wonder why he hadn't been tried there for real earlier after looking Ok there on a couple of occasions last season. madras
His form right now literally makes no sense and I love it. It does kind of make sense like....played in that position last season once or twice and was good there. Think I may have said once or twice that he should play there vin the league last season. Not going to try and brag cos I'm bloody sure I never said to play him there this season.

Guest firetotheworks
His form right now literally makes no sense and I love it. His form's because he's a good player. I understand the stick he got, but he was never as bad as made out. I never thought he'd get this good mind, he's been our best player from January onwards.
