I think back to my younger years when I often looked at the squad list and though so-and-so are the only players I'd like to keep if I was a manager with £xxxM (probably due to CM/FM ). There were always quite a few players I would like to keep. Today it is only 1 in Lascelles. I don't know a goalkeeper I would/we could replace Dubravka with, his game is complete and he seems like a good man too. To say Diame isn't Premier League quality because he's only been class for us for half a season in this league but Muto is Premier League quality because you've seen him for about 90 minutes in the league is fucking mental. Well, tbf, Muto and Schar it was a choice of leave them out or give them the benefit of the doubt. If i'd left them out then instead of posts like yours there'd be reams of posts questioning why they're not PL standard As for Diame, i'm just not convinced (yet). Maybe the second half of last season was the real Diame or maybe it was just a purple patch and the real Diame is the useless oaf we had lumbering around for us previously. It's an opinion at the end of the day, with the teams we've played so far it's probably too early to tell which Diame we'll get this season but if he continues like he's started I wouldn't be averse to Lascelles lamping him again.
