Paullow
Non league allocation day today, so there will be a lot of relieved and disappointed clubs later once they learn the league they are playing in next year. I'm hoping that Prudhoe stay in the Northern League (despite finishing 2nd bottom) and that Kendal are moved to the North West Counties league, which they are desperate for, but probably unlikely. Paullow
Northallerton Town have just confirmed they have been reprieved from relegation from Northern League Division One. Prudhoe staying in Divusion two, and no move for Kendal. Division 1 running with 22 teams, Division 2 with 20. Edited May 14 by Paullow
ponsaelius
No lateral movement at all in and out then? Who's come up to NL2?
ponsaelius
Just seen Seaton Carew and Stokesley. Hope there's no nonsense ground sharing arrangements.

Get in, more trips down the A19 I don't think I'll bother with so many away games this year, might do some Scotland trips instead since travelling to Edinburgh and Teesside aren't that different for me. Disco
Seaton Carew ‘ground’ is basically on the coast, be absolutely fucking freezing.

Disco
Andy Burn and Konner Lamb let go by Heaton, got to be all over that if you’re a NL1 club with aspirations of promotion.

Paullow
I missed Disco's post at the time, but I see Heaton have made a few signings of their own since them. 2 lads from Blyth Town, who looked decent when I saw them against Bishops last year, plus the top scorer from last years Northern league (Whitley Bay striker Mackenzie Sharpe, who was seemingly previously at Heaton). Looks like it's going to be hard for any team in the Northern League as Bishops are making some statement signings, got a few in from Whitby a couple of leagues higher. Obviously titles aren't won on paper, but they will be the favourites for sure. A shame they couldn't have stayed up last season and made a first of the NPLE this year. Pilko
Elliot not staying at Gateshead cos they couldn't agree budgets. Gutted about that, can only assume they'll appoint another PE teacher from the local college and end up at the arse end of the division again. Benwell Lad
Supporting Gateshead must be about as depressing as it gets as a football fan. Got to admire those who follow them through thin and thin.
La Parka
I'm a Harrogate town season ticket holder next season. Works out 11 quid a match. Can't argue with that.
Alberto2005
Hey everyone, I’ve plugged this once before but thought I’d try again now that pre-season is getting closer. Around 6 months ago, me and a friend launched Skouto which is a free platform built specifically for Steps 1-10 grassroots and non-league football. It’s designed to make it easier for: - Players to get their availability seen by clubs - Clubs to find and contact suitable players Would really appreciate any feedback, thoughts, or if anyone has decent connections in non-league who might find it useful. Website here: skouto.com (DM me for a dummy login if you don't want to use your own email) Social: https://x.com/skoutoapp Thanks in advance!

Aye I get a season ticket for Alnwick, it's about £4 a game (I mean, it's only £6 or £7 on the gate). Plenty of season tickets give the club a nice financial boost early doors and then any extra gate is a bonus for them, I always think.

I was a ST holder last season, mine is £100 cheaper this season (not that I'm renewing, I won the last one). Suspect you'll see them win more before the end of August than I did all season.
