Stan won 1-0 after missing a hatful of chances against 10 man Ashington.

Not entirely sure what happened in the 99th min mind. They had a corner, keeper comes up for it, and after a big scramble they looked like they had bundled it home, all their players celebrated an undeserved draw and the ref somehow waves play on. Final whistle goes, they go crackers, arguments everywhere and still no idea what happened. Non league at its finest.

Maybe swapping places with York.

Probably finish a second and fail to come up despite scoring approximately four million goals.

Mixed bag of results for the local NPL East sides.

Redcar and Dunston won towards the top end, as did Newton Aycliffe towards the bottom. Defeats for Blyth S, Consett and Heaton as well as Ashington who had a terrible loss away at Silsden who are very much in the relegation fight. Bishop Auckland drew. Blyth T's bottom of the table match with Lincoln U was postponed.

Familiar name Conor Washington got the winner for 2nd place Matlock against the Spartans, but they remain 10 points behind leaders Redcar.

Sounds like Spartans were a little unfortunate today against a well-funded side. They aren't getting humped too often, but need to find some more wins and quickly.

Piss poor result for Heaton today.

Terrible game against a very hard working team, their bald captain had a monster throw which seemed to be their main tactic. Watched by a certain Mr Beardsley.

Watched Gainsborough snatch a draw at home Vs hednesford. There was crowd trouble and police 🚓 🚨

The ref was diabolical, so bad the hednesford number 10 was pleading with him to "think of the home fans" so even he thought he was having a shitter.

I'm guessing hednesford is a shit hole because their fans just wanted scraps and looks like they attacked someone's mum. Little shits.

Saw 90s legend Ali Dia turn out for Gateshead against Hednesford back in the day.

Mad that there’d be crowd bother at that level when the places are nowhere near each other.

Apparently there's some kind of historical trouble. It's been ages since I saw crowd trouble at a game, probably Burton v Worksop in the 90s. Incidentally the time I met Brian Clough who was sat in the stand watching his son.

Heard about this last week but now announced. Spartans steal another Alnwick striker, again our top scorer, this time with us poised to get into the playoffs. Worse than Liverpool these cunts

Whilst there's very little crowd trouble at PL games these days it seems to have filtered down to the lower leagues and Non League a lot more now. Seen Bromley had to issue a statement last week regarding the conduct of their fans at Gillingham and there's always loads of videos doing the rounds on twitter of bother at Non League games in England and Scotland. Loads of bother at Arbroath v Morton the other week [emoji38]
