Reports that Sanchez is close to signing for Man-U

Something wrong with him to choose Jose/Man-U over Pep/Man-City

He'll slot right in to their starting XI. Not a guarantee at City.

And $$$, I'm sure.

Man City just want to park him away from another challenger or potential challenger. I do wonder what this means for Martial or Rashford.

Either way, he's out of contract in the summer. He makes some cash, plays for a better team for 6 months, and signs with Bayern in June.

That's not the way it works. Man Utd aren't going to give him a 6 month contract

Why is it weird?  He's joining a much better team than arsenal.

Because Man City are a much better team than Man United.

Chose the bigger club.

They are BUT right now one club plays far better football and is more likely to win trophies

Apart from the trophies man United won last season.

Cracking signing if they get him.

He'd start less games at city, I suspect he'll be wanting guaranteed 1st team status at this stage of his career.

Didn't realise he'd get a medal for last season.

Also they are hardly the trophies players aspire to win. It's the league and CL that matters followed by the FA Cup.
