Was listening to something a while back saying that Herr Nagelsmann didn’t like him as he didn’t run around enough so wouldn’t shock me if they go for the play all the wingers and attacking midfielders all over the place rotating rather than buying anyone with nominally Mane leading the press as a 9. Seems daft to me but that’s the main reason he’s off.

Suspect it won’t work for the better for Bayern.

Thought they were buying some monster tall lad from Stuttgart to replace him - Saša Kalajdžić.

They can sign but not register these players until they sell De Jong (or other similarly priced asset)?

Wonder in a few years if they’ll be forced to sell Pedi/Gavi etc just to keep the show on the road

Probably as they’ll have sold off or securitised 100% of their tv rights in 3 years.

So he's gonna be almost 38 by the time his contract is done? Seems wild to pay that much and give him 4 years when your finances are in such a place.

Their actions are what you would expect from somebody who knows they’re going to get bailed out very soon tbh.

Decent windows (so far):

- Villa

- Spurs

- Arsenal

- City

- Brentford

- Forest

We're a key injury or two away from 'just getting by' imo. Would like to think some holes could be filled before the end of the window so as to make us set our stall out from the get go.

I'd add Chelsea in there.  Jurys out right now but we will likely add Manure and west ham if they get the targets they are after. Expect Liverpool have at least one more big signing on the way given the amount they have moved out.

Have Arsenal changed their recruitment? Seem to be doing much better things over the last year or two.

They seem to have found a magic money tree these last few years

I know it is Lewandowski, but still find it a bit mental paying 50m euros for a player turning 34 next month that has 1 year left of his contract.

Who are we to argue with Barcelona’s desperate attempts to go bankrupt

It's mental. Bayern will be giggling at that.
