How? I dunno why some fans think you only need 11 players, look at parts of last season where our midfield was depleted and overrun by subpar teams, willock forever injured, sold Anderson, tonali gonna take time to get back to full fitness

We've got 6 players who play centrally.

Bruno, Joe, Tonali, Willock, Miley, Longstaff.

Why would we buy McTominay aswell?

I take your point on injuries, but we're only playing one game a week this season.

I don't agree on Tonali, you can't go splash 20m on a player just because he's going to take a 4-6 weeks to get match fitness.

I think I've made it fairly clear that Ugarte is the one I want.

Any defensive midfield signings will be welcomed though.

May I interest you in an Isaac Hayden?

Wonder if that's City in for Eze, then. Continuing the Palace decimation.

Can see them going for RW more. Savio more natural to LW, then got Grealish and Doku who primarily play there and Foden can play there too. RW, feels just Silva and Foden, and the latter is playing a lot more centrally.

Part of me feels they could come in for Bowen. Just an output guy for RW who would also be happy to be rotational.

Even wearing my Norwegian glasses, Berge is nothing but a non-consistent, weak, player with a high ability ceiling he never reached/reaches.

Perrfect signing for Man Utd.

Was Gueye from last season

Ev fans are weird. Let’s just take another black lad who signed and superimpose a head on him. 50 shades of Gueye.

Man United making Berge one of their big signings would be hilarious.

It's just a depth signing to see us through the season until Casemiro goes next summer. Then we'll have the budget for a top DM hopefully.

That being said, De Ligt and Mazroaui still look very likely.

Is Yoro, Zirkzee, De Ligt, Mazraoui and Berge not a decent window?

It’s a busy window. Jury is very much out on decent. Mazraoui could be the next Achraaf Lazaar.

It's a depth signing. Dalot is the starting right back. Think that's a good window personally. Not amazing, but good.

A lot will boil down to Yoro And Zirkzee. I don’t think you can even judge this window this season, might take a couple of years. De Ligt could be Van Dijk or Maguire 2.0, a lot will hinge on how he adapts to the PL after only playing 4 tough games a year in the Farmersliga.

Genuinely no idea what the plan is for Zirkzee to be honest. Doubt he's here to be a backup, but Hojlund is definitely who we want to lead the line.

Let's hope De Ligt is like Van Dijk rather than Maguire.
