Ugarte couldn't get a game for PSG at the end of last season, they looked much better with him out of the team with Vitinha & Fabian Ruiz starting. Man Utd once again spending very big on players who can't get into the team of clubs they should be challenging with, see De Ligt.

De Ligt was the starter. A complete myth that he wasn't and incredibly annoying when the info is there for people to see. 

 

Ugarte was too defensive for Luis Enrique and can't carry the ball forward. One of the best defensively in Europe by all metrics mind. We don't need him to carry the ball forward, we just need him to cover the space in front of the back four and then give it to Mainoo and Fernandes to bring it forward. 

 

They're both great signings, and most sensible people know it.
